Farzin Yazdi

Head of Investor Visa

Since 1996, Farzin has been looking after high net worth private clients investing in the UK markets on both an advisory and discretionary basis. He is well known in the British Middle Eastern community and advises some of the leading families on their investment decisions. Having started his career at Teather & Greenwood he rapidly progressed to become a Fund Manager investing in UK equities and bonds. After 7 years at Teathers he spent 7 years at JM Finn as a Fund Manager and headed the Derivatives CFD desk. Farzin created the UK Tier 1 (Investor) visa solution in 2012 with the aim of offering a fair solution for the client which had to be fast, simple, and transparent. Helping immigration lawyers and advisors to deliver the full UK Investor Visa solution, with the primary objective to take the investment risk out of the visa application. This unique offering helped Farzin win “Wealth Manager of the Year” at the High-Value Immigration Awards 2014. Farzin graduated from Fishburne Military School and has a BA from University of North London. He also co-founded Pars Business Club a non-profit organisation.

Rafael Steinmetz Leffa

Client Relationship Manager

Rafael is a Relationship Manager responsible for manging the entire Investor Visa process for clients and professional advisors in addition to developing business in the Investor Visa sector of Shard Capital. Originally from Brazil, Rafael immigrated to London in 2006 and then to China in 2012. After returning to London from Beijing, Rafael realized that foreign nationals that were investing in the UK to obtain residency through the Tier 1 Investor Visa programme needed someone who understands their cultural differences and preferences and kept the client’s interest at heart. He began his career in the Far East trading physical commodities and sourcing natural resources from all over Latin America for state owned enterprises in China. He assisted corporate and private clients as well as Government departments on infrastructure, investments, strategical partnerships and Financing. Rafael has a BA Honours in International Business and Mandarin from the Middlesex University (UK), a Graduate diploma in Economics from the University of London (SOAS) (UK), a diploma in Chinese Language and Cultural Studies from 桂林理工大学 (China) and is fluent in Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin.
